8,145 new appeals filed, making the Ninth Circuit the busiest federal appellate court in the country, up 4.6% from 2023

64,409 new district court filings, up 15.2% from 2023

83,597 bankruptcy filings, up 25.6% from 2023

Welcomed 14 new district judges, 1 new bankruptcy judge, and 4 new magistrate judges

Remembered several judges who passed away in 2024

Hosted the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference in Sacramento with visits from Justices Elena Kagan and Anthony Kennedy

Expanded civics education through the annual Civic Contest and the first online Community Outreach Symposium

Supported reentry programs such as the Sobriety Treatment and Education Program in Washington
